You can improve your lighting in many ways by upgrading to HID or LED lights. HID (High Intensity Discharge) lights are 2-3 times brighter than halogens and more vibration resistant. Unlike halogen bulbs that create light by heating a filament, in HID bulbs an arc is passed between 2 electrodes inside the bulb that ignites xenon or metal halide gas. But as you can see, most of our lights develop their illumination using powerful, efficient, and durable LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes). Unlike incandescent bulbs with fragile filaments that can fail due to vibration, LEDs are semiconductors that produce light when current is applied. They’re insensitive to vibration, and unaffected by off-road adventures over rough terrain. LEDs produce light that is much brighter, and when used in directed lighting applications like headlights, auxiliary lights and driving lights the beam extends further ahead, so you can see further down the trail. LED lights are also highly energy efficient and draw much less current than comparable incandescent bulbs, so installing them won’t strain your electrical system - an important consideration on a powersports vehicle.

Start by upgrading your existing headlight and tail lights. Our LED tail light bulbs are direct replacements for factory incandescent bulbs and they’ll fit in the same sockets and housings. If your quad or sled has composite headlights and halogen bulbs, and you want brighter light and better visibility install our HID or LED headlight conversion kits. HID kits come with bulbs, ballasts and mounting hardware. LED kits are a plug and play installation, with no rewiring or modifications to your machine required, and if you opt for our RGB conversion kits, you’ll also be able to create multi-color special effects with your headlights, that you control from a smartphone app. Or go with complete headlight and tail light assemblies for a boost in style and function. In addition to an unbelievable appearance, our custom headlight assemblies have features like LED halo rings and projector beam technology. With their small elliptical reflectors and clear lenses, projector beams produce a sharper, more focused beam of light without the scatter loss that is common with parabolic reflectors, for even greater visibility in darkness.

If your machine has sealed beam headlights, we can offer you LED sealed beams with the same features – projector beams and halos, available in a wide range of colors. And if you’d like to add the great look of color halos to your existing headlights, we offer halo ring kits that can be installed inside your composite headlight housings. We also have custom LED tail lights that come with red LED halos, your choice of bezel color, and feature running, brake and backup lights, and they’re available in a headlights and tail lights combo package. Now upgrading your headlights and tail lights will get you underway on the path to better illumination, but if you really want to turn night into day out on the trails, you need additional lighting, and we’ve got many ways to make it happen.

We have HID and LED fog, auxiliary, and driving lights in many sizes and round and cube shapes, as well as LED light bars in a range of lengths, number of LED rows and number of LEDs. These are available in a variety of lumen and wattage ratings, with clear or amber lenses, for reduced glare and better visibility in foggy and dusty areas, and with spot, flood or combo beam patterns. Spot beams, also called pencil or long-range beams, are tighter, more focused beams that extend out toward the horizon. These beams are great for visibility far into the distance, but are most effective in open, unobstructed areas. Flood lights have both a vertical and horizontal beam pattern that creates a wide area of light, making them perfect for use as work lights and backup lights. Combo beam lights combine spot and flood beams in one light. One of the easiest ways to give your quad an appearance and illumination upgrade is with one of our custom grilles that incorporate an LED light bar.

You can depend on our off-road lights to reliably deliver the illumination you need under any weather conditions or on any riding terrain. All our lights are extensively tested for durability, and only lighting equipment that can operate flawlessly during extreme temperature variations, and pass water spray or submersion tests, and vibration tests simulating off-road conditions are sold under the Munro banner. While many lights come with mounts and wiring for installation, we also have a large selection of installation products for those that don’t. If you have your own ideas about light setup, we offer mounts and brackets for tubular surfaces like bumpers, cargo racks and roll bars, and handlebar mounts, pedestal mounts, cradle mounts, and flush mounts, as well as wiring harnesses, connectors, relays, and switches. Plus, we have light covers and grilles to protect your lights when they’re not in use.

The above lights are perfect for improving your forward visibility and a set of cube lights is ideal for use as backup lights, but along with lights that will improve your vision, we also have many lights that can make your machine visible to other riders and even turn your machine into a rolling light display. We offer a variety of flexible LED accent light strips and diminutive LED light pods and light bars that are so small they can be installed just about anywhere. They come in sets or complete kits in a range of colors and can be installed with screws or 3M adhesive tape. We also offer LED illuminated flags and safety whips that can illuminate your presence even when the rest of your machine is hidden by the terrain.

But if you really want to be the star of the show, install one of our LED underbody light kits. The tubes, light strips, and/or pods in these kits are compact to fit in tight spaces, yet bright enough to provide the degree of illumination you want to perfectly highlight your machine. You’ll not only be able to cast a crowd-drawing glow on the ground underneath your quad or sled, but also emphasize custom work and equipment. For example, if you’ve got a lot invested in suspension mods, there’s no better way to show it off than with brilliant LED light, in color or with color changing effects. These kits are available in your choice of single colors or multi color kits that you can control from an app on your smartphone. Capabilities will vary according to kit, but in general you can change colors; choose preset or custom color changing patterns and themes; and strobe, scan and pulse lights to music.

Many states allow ATVs and UTVs to be made street legal and operated on public roads. Along with requirements like DOT (Department of Transportation) approved tires, mirrors, an illuminated license plate and functioning horn, you’ll need functioning turn signals and we have the kits for the job. And because ATVs and UTVs are often used by security personnel and first responders, we also offer mini light bars, strobes and beacons with the requisite amber, blue, and red lens colors. Most states don’t allow Personal Watercraft (PWC) operation at night, which is why these craft generally aren’t equipped with lights, but some areas do allow use after sunset if the boat is equipped with navigation lights. While we offer no specific recommendations, you may find our LED accessory lights useful for fashioning these lights.
